I wish I had you luck with Mums.  I bought mine from a reputable nursery.
They were supposed to be hardy in Zone 5.  They were very beautiful last
fall, but nothing has emerged this spring at all.  I am very disppointed.  I
did everything the grower told me to do.  I know others in this area who
have had the same experience, but someone who lives 10 miles west of me has
mums that come back every year and she gives them no care at all..... go
figure.
