Asters - "Crego Mixed Colors"

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has grown these before, what the success/failure
rate is, etc.  I started mine from seeds back in mid-March, transplanted
them to a pot in a sunny area on the patio in mid-April, now they're ready
to be transplanted to the ground.  I can't find specific info on "Crego
Mixed" other than the what's on the back of the seed packet, and that's
sketchy.  My main questions are:  when do they bloom, do they benefit from
pinching back, how much water do they like?  Thus far they've been in
soiless potting mix, my ground is on the clay side.
