Any ideas?
Are the leaves almost like thick grass? When the flowers are done
blooming do the spent blooms hang down under the cleft where the leaf
meets the stem? Are there three little yellow stamens in the center of
the purple flower? If so, sounds like a spiderwort to me. Have no
fear, by the fall you'll have zillions, and next spring they'll put on a
wonderful show for you.
