A friend gave me a piece of what she thought was
coneflower. Since it started to bloom, I don't think that is what it
is. It is a baby plant about 1 foot tall and a very skinny stalk with only
3 leaves, widely spaced. It has very lovely purple blossoms all clustered
together in the crook where the leaf joins the stem. She plants a lot of
medicinal herbs, so I'm wondering if it is one of those. Any
ideas?
