Another Mystery Plant

I don't remember whether I posted this a couple weeks ago, but I bought a
plant at a local nursery that simply had a tag saying "assorted perennials" in
the pot. They had about 24 pots of this plant, all with the same label. A
staff person checked with several people trying to identify it and one
suggested it was some form of flowering tobacco. Well, it's like no nicotiana
I've ever seen, including sylvestris. A little more research and observation
and I think I've got a Rechsteineriana. I found this in the Time-Life Bulb
book (from their series) and the drawing most resembles the plant I have.
This plant has heart-shaped leaves, and 2-3" narrow cylindrical tubular bright
red (the most gorgeous red I have ever seen on a plant) flowers. And it is
growing from a corm that is nearly perfectly round and bright orange. The
Time-Life book suggests pot-growing as a house plant.
So, I guess the question is does anyone have any experience with
Rechsteineriana (or think there's another plant this might be) and know
whether it will do all right in the perennial bed in full sun for the summer?
It seems OK for now.
