People do the same thing up here in Massachusetts. The other awful thing they
do with mums is sell them in pots in full bloom for Easter and Mother's Day.
Mums are supposed to bloom in the fall!!
The other thing that makes me crazy is people planting impatiens in full sun.
All the wonderful plants available that love full sun and that I can't grow
because I have so little sun, and people put impatiens out there and wonder
why they're always so limp and refuse to become lush.
