Hi, Len...
When I read your post, I immediately thought of white Oriental lilies. Last
year, I bought some at Costco, really cheap, planted them in mid-May, and
had beautiful, fragrant flowers by mid-July. If the flowers about to open
are cut a day or so before the wedding, they should be perfect (will only
last a day or so if cut in full bloom).
Roses, of course, would be ideal...but I can't give personal advice about
them because the kind that I grow here don't bloom in late July.
