RE: source for d austin

Hi Paula,

I've never heard of that Austin rose and I thought I knew of them all.

As far as the dates for restoring your 1920's garden, if you order peony and
rose catalogues, most of them will list the year they were bred/marketed
(however that works) and the breeder.

My suggestion is Heirloom Old Rose Garden in St. Paul, Oregon. All their
roses are own root, wonderful catalogue, you get one year cuttings but they
reach maturity in 2 years. For peonies, I get a catalogue from Caprice
Gardens, local to me, but I know Khlems is the "famous" one...

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.

I AM in shape. ROUND is a shape!
