I LOVE the idea for the allium!! Think of the fun! And then again, think
of the color combinations you could come up with...
Another idea I saw in a flower arranging book showed the spent green heads
of the allium tied together topiary-style in a clay pot. In the center of
the allium, about 5" higher, was a smaller set of green poppy heads tied
together topiary-style. The greens were pleasing and the arrangement very
geometric. The whole thing was in a tall, thin clay pot that had been
painted a deco-style black and white.
