Re: ground ivy/creeping charlie

Okay, I must be the only one who likes ground ivy. I really do. It's
quite charming under a heavy shade tree where little else will grow. But
I think the trick is to eliminate all other grass and plants so you have
a uniform look, like any other ground cover. I have never heard it
called creeping charlie, before, but I certainly know what ground ivy is.
I have a very brown thumb, so I didn't have the problem of invasiveness.
Right now, I don't have it in my landscape, but used to have it two
houses ago, along with some English ivy that was also used in these heavy
shade areas.
