More on hand care for gardeners

I didn't realize I had arthritis until I began gardening last fall. To help
ease the discomfort, I ordered a pair of ice mitts from a health supply
company. I keep them in the freezer, and ice my hands down when I come in at
the end of the day. They don't take the arthritis away, but they do feel
awfully good and help reduce swelling.
