I think we're all just worried about whether this is just the calm before
the storm.
I was overrun last year and couldn't grow lettuce in my vegetable garden.
My hostas and irises looked like swiss cheese.
I'm wondering if we're getting nightly visited by a gang of marauding ducks.

I think we have some really strange people on this
list. They are bemoaning the fact that they don't
have any slugs!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT THEM ????????
Last summer we had innumerable posts concerning how to
get rid of them. Right now they are chewing my
hosta's to pieces. I have used slug bait, beer and a
juicy assortment of curses..all to no avail. Send me
your address and I will happily send them on to you.
