I have saved several bags of mowed leaves for mulching, so I'll save some
of them for this fall (garden supplies have already run my car out of the
garage!). My motivation is that the botanical garden every fall has bed
after bed of them--you could literally pick bucket-fulls.
I also put a call in to the horticulturist at Powell Gardens (they don't
have email if you can believe it) and will post his answer if he calls.
