To those still interested,
I did hear back from the Horticulturist at Powell Gardens (KC's botanical
garden), Alan Branhagan. He said they treat "Indian Summer" as an annual
and grow it from new seed each year. In our area, according to Mr.
Branhagan, it is rarely perennial. A little disappointing, but it adds new
interest to the Rudbekia seed starting thread!
