Re: Blue/green perennials/botanical names of plants


 How about Cerinthe Major purpurascens?  This is an annual not a perennial
but perhaps we can include it because it is supposed to self seed fairly
freely.  I've seen it in several gardens just recently and it has fleshy,
blue-green leaves that as they work up the stem change to purple. The
flowers at the top are a dark purple-blue in colour.  So in one plant,
there are the colour of Craig's wife's eyes and her favourite colour.  I
think it's stunning and intend trying it next year.
