Good evening, Everyone!
I don't save very many posts because I figure I can look up info in
the Archives. For some time I have been searching for a post entitled "Death
of a Gardener." I wanted to print it and give it to a friend.
Whoever sent the post, talked about a person who was famous for her
gardens which filled both her front and back yards. Basically prairie and
wildflower plants, I think. City ordinance requires yards to be mowed
periodically to keep grass, weeds, etc., within certain guidelines. After a
long time of negotiating with city council, city workers went to her home
and, using heavy equipment, scraped off most of her yard.
I have searched the Archives for several months back and by every
pertinent word I can think of and get Zero. Do any of you remember such an a
post and know where I find it?
TIA and Best Wishes to you all --
