Re: Crocosmia

Good Day, Jerry --
I broke down and bought one marked down late last summer. Hated to
spend the money on something I didn't think would not be likely to survive.
I planted it in a corner between the house and front stoop. I rake my leaves
over my perennial beds in the fall. Right now it is up about a foot and
looking very good. Sprang for a Gaura (which is also for the next warmer
zone) which I plan to plant next to the Crocosmia.
Is there any where else you can plant the bulbs that is more
protected? I don't know about you but there are enough things to do in the
fall without having to worry about digging up anything more than you have to!

Good Luck with whatever you decide --
