Re: gloves/bacterial infection

I hesitate to add to the horror stories, but knowledge is power.
When I worked for a biological supply house years ago, where we shipped live
frogs and toads packed with damp sphagnum peat moss to laboratories and schools,
one of my fellow employees got a nasty bacterial infection on his arm from the
peat moss. It was admittedly an unusual occurrence - so much so that his
dermatologist photographed the infection for a medical journal article - but it
can happen. It too took weeks of treatment before it cleared up.
