Re: Stokesia and deadheading

I've just been pulling up hundreds of forget me not plants this morning and
I found my Stokesia Laevis Alba that I had said hadn't come up. The leaves
are about six inches long, a bit raggedy (slug damage I suspect) but it's
alive. And it's spread a bit during the winter. I've "lost" quite a few
plants this year to myosotis - I must obviously pull up far more of the
seedlings and make sure that none of the myosotis seedlings that I do keep
are near new and small plants that could be completely hidden by it next
spring.

Thanks for all the help with deadheading. I'll try to get the book. I
don't know what I'll do yet, but being basically lazy I suspect I'll not
deadhead - what fun I'll have next year trying to sort out the seedlings
from weeds!
