Not Kemberly, Donna, but in z 7 (MD) Columbine bloom in spring. They will
continue to bloom (albeit with smaller and smaller flowers) most of the
summer *if* you remove all developing seedpods right away.
Around July, when they will have set seed if not deadheaded, they get very
ratty looking. I let seeds mature because I want them, so cut them back to
the ground at this time - just before their new flush of growth in July.
They will then releaf and look pretty decent for the rest of the
season...but no additional bloom.
Think Kemberly has a different growth pattern because of the intense heat
in TX....could be wrong:-)
