verbena bonariensis -- replacement?

I have grown verbena bonariensis for several years in my zone 6b garden and
have been grateful for the occasional seedling, especially since in bad
winters I lost my main plant.

About 3 years ago I put a plant in south/west sloping bed and it has 'taken
over the planet.' What a difference a few feet/different growing conditions
can make...

I love the tall, airy, summer look with pink roses but I have to remove this
plant from this particular bed. Any replacement suggetions?

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come together to
praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do likewise.
