turning its 18-year-old mail-order business into a Web business.
Milaeger's supplies perennials to an Internet garden site,
http://www.garden.com Milaeger's was one of the original plant
suppliers to Garden Escape of Austin, Texas, when that firm launched
garden.com in 1996. Kevin Milaeger, a co-owner of the company his
parents founded in 1960, said his family was contacted by a number of
businesses that wanted to put them on the Internet in 1995 and 1996,
