I hope the new neighbors threw away plants in your direction, but from the look
of your lovely perennial bed, there's no room!
Which brings up a question, with perennials planted cheek by jowl in the bed,
how do you get in to weed and prune? My beds are not much wider than 4 feet and
it is still a bit of a stretch to reach the middle. Hardly any room to put a
foot down to get to some plants. If I deliberately left room to walk, I just
know the weeds would move in with glad cries.
