Hi, Laurie....
The catnip that I originally planted about 10 years ago now shows up just
any old place. Our cats do chew on it occaisionally, but there's always
planty more. One reason I regret planting it is that we live in a rural
area, and I read that it will attract bobcats as well as domestic cats. I
also have a few nepeta, which don't seem to be spreading, and which the
cats ignore.
