I, for one, am up to my ears in work. This happens to be a
massively busy time of the year - and I'm sure it's not just
me. Also, gardening of any type, takes a back seat at this
time of year in my zone 5 climate. NOTHING is growing or
needs attending to, so my attention turns elsewhere, as I'm
sure does others.

I have been both as well, and at this point, during these
days, while my country is at war, my voice is used for other
things. Not every truth needs to be spoken and one must
choose their own battles.
