Been here a while also.  It does fit the description.  This dichondra will 
make it through the winter as a houseplant.  In a shallow container it 
eventually makes a handsome mound or silver foliage with rounded, smooth 
leaves.  After a while it hangs over the side of the container as a vine 
though I think it would act as a ground cover where is was warm enough for it 
to survive.  Mine has never flowered though many things do not flower here 
that need a long season or lots of heat.
