In Plant Delights 2002 catalog, Tony lists three Aspidistras.
Aspadistra elatior 'Asahi' zone 7-10
Aspadistra lurida 'Ginga' zone 7b-10
Aspadistra typica "Old Glory" zone 8-10
All three are variegated and not the plain old.............I bought a plain
old for three bucks this summer and will carry it over indoors to see how i
like it. Have plans to plant it out next spring, cut it back and leave out
all winter to see if it survives. my effort as a plant scientist(not)
Walter in zone 6b Bucks County. Pa
