Folks
you are making me drool here. I want to visit the site that Pat posted with the recipe for Hershey Bar Cake, but don't dare.
All this good food everyone is talking about is making me climb the walls. As a diabetic with 1 heart attack under my belt + high blood pressure, I don't dare even look at food. If it looks like food, taste like food, or if someone even refers to it as food, I can't have it. Not only that, I just recently had to start taking inisulin, and my Dr. did not inform me that insulin will cause you to gain weight. "Insulin tells your body to store fat" After gaining 15 lbs. I began to panic and started trying to loose, "which has never been a problem before" I can't loose an oz.
Needless to say , my Dr. is not gonna be a happy camper at my next visit. To keep this legal, I'm still doing clean up in the flower beds. We had a beautiful today and that is where I could be found, after several days of pretty cool weather. I'm getting ready to plant my spring bulbs soon, and also some poppy seed. I hope I have 2 plants for ever poppy seed, since they are one of my favorites

Hello Pat,
My web site manager is gone for the holidays so no quick posts to my web
site.
I checked out the recipes you listed below... all are similar, but the
one we use here is actually begins with a boxed mix. Other than that... just
pile on lots of icing whatever the recipe you end up using. Must be pretty
popular with all of us adults who love kiddie food for deserts.
Someone else on the list mentioned Hershey bar pie... that sound even
better than the cake. I like pies over cakes any way.
I can feel my bellybutton getting tighter just talking about more
sweets......

What else is there to do but cook, now when everything outside is frozen?
