Re: a digitalis question

Greetings All,
Thanksgiving was something else... as in previous years. MIL purchased
fresh as opposed to frozen turkey this time around. Certainly did make a
difference. We knew something was different before she announced the change.
But no one knows how to really make decent gravy in the family... sigh. I
will be stuffed for the next three days....... we took home made pumpkin
pies, Hershey bar cake, and a Jell-O salad to the family dinner.

We have a had a wonderful few days - Thanksgiving is a big deal in my family - always a crowd ( the big year there was 58 people, most hover around 45). Three turkeys, vats of mashed potatoes and stuffing and squash. I brought 2 Hershey bar pies and both disappeared. My cousins brought their children and,for now, I have the second tallest in the family. Friday started Hanukkah and I made a somewhat traditional meal (roasted fillet and potato pancakes).

I have been watching the birds taking seed from the seed heads I left. There is not quite as much snow here, maybe 3 inches, but it looks nice.

Holidays greetings to all. May you all have a wonderful rest of the weekend. I am off to get the paper and then read the daylily catalogs that have started to roll in.
