Oh gosh Gene, can I relate to your tale of Thanksgiving. I don't think
I've had a fresh turkey since I was a kid - you know BF - before freezers.
It always amazes me that I can spend 2 days cooking, then it is all over in
about 20 or 30 min. LOLOL But the leftovers are great!
Here's hoping we both are crazy about Pam's Choice.
Marilyn
PS I don't suppose you'd like to put your Hershey bar cake recipe up on your
web site so we can all try it?

Hello Marilyn,
Looks as though we are both going to find out.... a gardening buddy sent
me some seeds from her Pam's Choice foxglove earlier this fall. I sowed the
seeds into 4 inch pots and have seen tiny green noses in the pots already. I
do not normally do the bi-annual or annual thing, but could not resist
sowing some seed of these pretties. I normally grow the quieter in
appearance perennial forms in my garden.
Thanksgiving was something else... as in previous years. MIL purchased
fresh as opposed to frozen turkey this time around. Certainly did make a
difference. We knew something was different before she announced the change.
But no one knows how to really make decent gravy in the family... sigh. I
will be stuffed for the next three days....... we took home made pumpkin
pies, Hershey bar cake, and a Jell-O salad to the family dinner.
