Becky, I  also attended Perennial Sat (I have never missed one!).  I was in 
Alans test garden at the U just a couple weeks prior to the ISU event.  While 
touring the test garden Alan walked out of the greenhouse.  He is a very warm 
person which you no doubt recognized at the symposium. He ask if there was a 
plant I would like to take home however we were flying so had to turn down the 
offer which was good as I would have had a difficult time selecting a plant.  
Did you see him last time he was at PS?
