I've been looking at them for a couple of years. Last February I visited the
Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia to look at the Witch Hazels........and some
conifers. The W.H. were just great and I made my mind up then that I would
have to get one. In May I acquired "Jelena" as I recalled reading it was a good
one. Also saw in flower and liked the orange/red better than the yellow. It
is well budded, kinda happy and as long as the deer don't eat it, we'll have
some nice flowers in Feb. or even January if it's warm enough.
