Re: Bignonia

Hi Barbara,
I bought this same bignonia in the spring of '96. I wasn't sure if it
would be hardy here in E. TN (z6b). It overwintered beautifully & bloomed
profusely in spring & I had a few sporatic blooms throughout the summer &
fall. It is evergreen also. I planted mine on the south side of the house
next to the the chimney & even though I pruned it in late winter it has
grown up to the roof. It is a very hot & dry spot. It gets full sun all
day, but I have read they will take partial shade also. I'd go for it
especially if it is on sale.
Good luck.

Gaye

I found a bignonia 'Tangerine Beauty' yesterday on sale at Wayside Gardens
and wonder if it would do well here; anyone have any experience with these?
