that true, but it also spread all over southeast asia, including
indonesia.

it's a Papilionacea family, used as pergola cover (shade).  It's a vine
can grow to 10m (30 feet) long some times more,with green/blue flower.
I don't know if it could stand your cold climate. but for your
refference that
Philippine and indonesia are tropical islands, with high humidity (above
75%) and temperature always above
29centigrade along a year.  Only have 2 season, dry or rainy season, sun
shine even in rainy season.
how cold is your winter temperature ?
