snow loving perennials

How about some hellebores?  Blooming late fall to early spring, bracts 
last a month or more.  Some hardy into zone usda3.  Arums, spikes of 
red berries last into the fall.  Another bulb-cyclamen-blooming now it 
would be covered by snow, unless its planted under an evergreen tree.
