Perhaps somebody would be interested in starting a HTML-enabled mailed list?
If you can use Explorer 4.0 or Netscape 4.0, you can use colored fonts as
well as images in your E-mail, even on WEB-TV. Oh yes, I almost forgot
this is the perennials mailing list!
In zone 5, Cyrtomium falcatum is in fine form. The Cyclamens finished last
week. A plant that is more interesting in the winter than in the summer, is
Atriplex. On sunny days in late winter, the leaves shine like "ice plants".
They have no winter dieback at all. A relative to lambsquarters, it is
native to he cold parts of Nevada. Easy in pure sand under an overhang on
the south side of the house. Daphne caucasica still looks great! A great
many alpines look great all winter.
