I have only one big pot of geraniums and I just bring it inside to the
living room, where it basks in the light of a window with a northeast
exposure - just about the only place I have for it, so the exposure is not
a matter of choice. If it looks leggy, I trim it back. I occasionally
water it. Then when all danger of frost is past, out it goes to the deck
again. It gets to looking a little raggedy but nothing disgraceful. It
does not flower until it gets back outside but I think it would continue to
set buds throughout the winter if I could give it some sunlight.
