Being the organic type of gardner that I am, I would like to suggest
that instead of using a "slug bait" try using a product called
Diatomaceous Earth. It injures the skin of slugs and snails (and any
other ground crawling insect) and causes them to dehydrate! I found
mine at Lowes. Follow the directions and it won't hurt you or anyother
kind of mammels. You can also make a slurry out of it to help with
unwanted catapillers.
