Hollyhock - Thanks everyone!! -Reply

Oh wow! If you're making a list of people interested
in your hollyhock -- I can tell you I am without even
seeing it. Love hollyhocks! I thought I'd have to get
it through T & M. Thanks Don, I'm happy to pay for
the seed/shipping.

I'd like to thank everyone who took time to look at
the hollyhock cultivar
that I'm developing (
http://www.execpc.com/~llmen/holly.jpg ).

Lest there be any confusion, when I said in effect,
"Would you buy this
plant?", I was speaking rhetorically and was not
trying to solicit sales to
members of the newsgroup. For the time being, I'm
beholden to Thompson &
Morgan until they decide whether they desire to
market this. However, as
soon as I'm able, I promise to make this available
to you folks first.
I'll keep a file of the e-mail addresses of those who
expressed an interest.

Still in the works: A cultivar of Belamcanda
chineisis - tentative name
'Flame'. Not the usual orange spotted variety, but
a bicolor, without
spots and with a distinctive flame pattern on the
petals. Take a look:

Stay tuned,
