Try arborvitae "Golden Globe." Truly stunning.
Lights up the border in fall. They mature to about
4 x 4, are gold in the summer and a golden bronze
in the fall/winter. Like candles in the gloomy gray
days.
There are also many beautiful golden foliaged
chamecyparis too.
