Type: Hardy Perennial Sow : Late Winter/Late Spring
and Late Summer/Autumn
Type: Hardy Biennial Sow : Late Spring/Early Summer
Germination Days: 15-20
Germination Temp: 60-65
Light/Dark: Light - Do not cover tray with newspaper,
brown paper, etc.
Media: Peaty
Sow Depth : Surface - Sow on the surface and do NOT
cover with compost.
Comments: Can be sown in situ.
Situ - These seeds can be sown outdoors. Moist soil
worked down to a fine tilth is essential. For hardy annuals and perennials
sowing can be carried out from late winter onwards as
soon as the ground is workable and has warmed up and half hardy annuals
after all danger of frost is passed.
