I know the feeling. I'm in Minnesota now (land of winter and mud) but I
started out in California. I lived all over the country as a child and
never thought too much of it then, but after I'd had winters I got to the
point where I hate not having snow for Christmas. It's like it's not
even a real holiday, just totally depressing and fake feeling now.
Luckily, I'm in MN where we generally have snow for every major holiday
except Independence Day! :)
I love the change, but I get so tired of winter lasting so long and being
so cold. Today with wind chill it was 10 below, and it's gonna be much
much worse.
