Hibiscus Hybrids from seed

Has anyone ever tried to grow hibiscus from seed saved from named hybrids such
as "Lord Baltimore" and "Caroline". My plants set seed this year (I thought
they were sterile hybs) and I wonder what the progeny might turned out to be.
