I don't know about the cold air, but many if not all communities have laws
prohibiting the discharge of graywater on the surface of the soil and many
also have laws prohibiting the reuse of graywater altogether by homeonwers.
This situation is changing VERY slowl, and Santa Barbara California is one
of the first cities (at least in California) to challenge the situation.
It's a shame that we are so restricted from using graywater, it makes
perfect sense to use.
