The latest I heard about the Bubbleboy virus was that it is not in
distribution but that the inventory has given it to Microsoft, McAfee, etc.
to invent safeguards against it. So the expectation is that now that it is
known to be possible, some of the bad guys will come up with it too. I also
heard that McAfee already does have an antidote.
The consensus is that this is NOT a hoax, as so many of these kinds of
announcements are.
