Actually, I'd rather that this list stayed perennial-focused.  There
is a plant about woody plants that's more appropriate than this one
for trees/shrubs/vines...

Having said that, did you mean that you were looking for deciduous or
evergreen?  Most mountain laurels and hollies are evergreen...

Also, what hardiness zone and maximum size?  Once I know that, I'll
send some suggestions to you directly so that we don't clutter the list
with any more non-perennials stuff.
