One note on thermogenetic (heat producing) plants, many are pollinated or 
feed on insects that are attracted to heat. The insects fall into two 
groups-those that are biting and feed on blood and living tissue and those 
that feed off of rotting flesh.

I am sure there are many evergreen species in high altitudes that melt snow 
too.
Probably by means of chemical secretion or chemicals in there dermal layer.
