Re: Propagating Clematis texensis


I think somebody referred to trying to propagate Clematis texensis in this thread recently.  I just read this evening in the latest issue of the RHS journal The Garden that C. texensis is especially difficult to propagate. A nurseryman in England had exhibited a specimen of it at the Wisley Flower Show and made that statement.
