Autumn flowering crocus in new spot

Hello,

I have some autumn blooming crocus. Forgot what species they are since I
planted nearly ten years ago near the house.

Over the years I have noticed the plants spread to other flower beds nearby.
However this year a fair size clump of them came up nearly 150 feet away from
the original patch. The seed would have had been dispersed across a lawn and
driveway to get to the new spot. What type of animal might have carried the
seed to the new location? They really are growing well under a white pine
tree. This is the first fall which I noticed them.
