Hi Everybody,
Did anyone catch that great article on autumn blooming bulbs in the
Sept/Oct issue of The American Gardener? I am duly inspired and looking to
purchase some to plant next spring.
I am particularly interested in the fall blooming Daffodil - Sternbergia
lutea. Do any of you Daffodil Society folks grow it? I also am enamored of
Crocus cartwrightianus 'Albus' and Crocus medius (royal purple). Last but
not least are Rhodophiala spp. (oxblood lily) and Leucojum autumnale. I
would love to learn from your experience.
Thanks, Marilyn
